Popular pastor Osteen brings 'Hope' to Dodger Stadium
Orange County Register
LOS ANGELES – Joel Osteen, pastor of Lakewood Church — the nation's largest with weekly attendances of 47,000 — was at the iconic Dodger baseball stadium making final preparations for an event expected to draw thousands Saturday. Tens of millions are inspired by his weekly TV broadcasts, his New York Times best-selling books and his podcasts. "Historic Night of Hope" with Joel and Victoria Osteen, first held a year ago at Yankee Stadium, is a 21/2-hour celebration of praise and music. Osteen, his wife, their two children, his mother and brother will share some of the ways God has touched their lives.
At Life Church we believe that life should be BIG! Jesus taught that he came to give us life and that we would have it more abundantly (John 10.10 NKJV). We are convinced these words are an invitation to a fresh and vibrant new way of living...
Our hope is that you would come to know Jesus personally, as Lord and Savior, that you would be filled with God’s Holy Spirit, to encounter him as the passionate lover of your soul. We want God's best for you, and we are committed to moving you toward Christ and the design He has for your life!
