LOS ANGELES – Joel Osteen, pastor of Lakewood Church — the nation's largest with weekly attendances of 47,000 — was at the iconic Dodger baseball stadium making final preparations for an event expected to draw thousands Saturday. Tens of millions are inspired by his weekly TV broadcasts, his New York Times best-selling books and his podcasts. "Historic Night of Hope" with Joel and Victoria Osteen, first held a year ago at Yankee Stadium, is a 21/2-hour celebration of praise and music.
